Summer Kathak Intensive

Summer Kathak Intensive. Session 1/Level 1 Foundational Artistry (Up to 2 years of experience.) Session 2/Level 2: Intermediate/Advanced Mastery (2+ years experience.) 

The workshop will be conducted barefoot. Please bring water, your bells, and something to take notes on. Open to all levels!

Anvita Sharma is the Artistic Director and founder of Nrityanvita Kathak Academy, bringing the expressive elegance of Lucknow Gharana Kathak to modern audiences for two decades. After transitioning from careers in finance and nursing to full-time dance in 2022, Anvita expanded her academy across Southern California, including Los Angeles, Pasadena, Orange County, and San Diego. Trained under Guru Rachana Upadhyay and Smt. Durga Arya, she blends deep traditional roots with a fresh, community-driven energy. Through dynamic performances, masterclasses, and accredited certifications, Anvita is dedicated to redefining classical Indian dance for a new generation.
