FLOCK Class with Alice Klock!
Class will start with a FLOCK warmup/improv and will progress into exploring Alice's unique movement style and phrase work. The emphasis of the class is on connecting with personal artistry, exploring new pathways, and enjoying dance! This class is designed for pre-professional and professional movers.
Alice Klock is a performer, choreographer, and director. After nine years of dancing with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago she co-founded FLOCK with Florian Lochner. Through FLOCK they perform their own work, collaborate with dancers and artists worldwide, and co-create new choreography for film and stage. Their most recent FLOCK productions include touring shows “Familiar” and “Somewhere Between”. Alongside her work within FLOCK Alice has won numerous choreographic competitions and choreographed for many dance companies, universities, and cultural institutions. In 2018 she was named one of Dance Magazine’s 25 to Watch. It is her priority to embody/create exemplary quality work with kindness, humanity, and an emphasis on the limitless beauty and possibility inherent within each person.
