Tales Between Our Legs is a dance collective formed in 2014, and features the collaborative work of movement artists Megan Fowler-Hurst, Mackenzey Franklin, and Sarri Sanchez. The collective approaches the politics of the body through theatrical hyperbole. Their movement is ugly, unhinged, and uncannily precise. TBOL weaves text, video, sound design, and intricate physicality to create impolite multimedia performance aimed at challenging artistic and social complacency. TBOL has presented work at the Palm Desert Choreography Festival, Breaking Ground Dance Festival, REDCAT NOW Festival, SORORITY, Barbara and Art Culver Center for the Arts, Brockus Project Studios, University of Redlands, Riverside Community College, and The Secret Circus.
